"Monument to Paediatric Collateral Damage" at the
At the First Canadian Place gallery until April 30
Boundaries are seductive. They make it possible to
separate me from you and us from them; and to draw the line we cross
from life into death.
Implied is a physical surface or border that
defines one thing from another. It gives us comfort to define
exactly what something is, who someone is, where one comes from or
even whether something or someone is alive or inanimate. But as we
look more deeply into what appears to be the surface, we might
see how we truly exist in this world.
